Senior ICT Technicians

 

SIG is seeking Senior Technicians to be responsible for supporting our local project management team with structured cabling, sound masking, IP security, installations.

Position Accountabilities

  • Perform service calls and/or manage large projects with multiple technicians reporting to you.
  • Meet project schedules and deadlines, working within a very strict timeframe.
  • Attend and complete project meetings as required to cover all details and expectations of project as they were estimated.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency, with Level V cable certification devices, ex. Fluke DSX
  • Must be able to work on ladders of varying heights and carry items up to 90 lbs
  • 3+ Years’ experience in the installation of structured cabling systems, STP/UTP copper, fiber optic and coaxial
  • 2+ Years’ experience in the installation of Sound Masking systems
  • 2+ Years’ experience in the installation of IP security cameras
  • Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PC/Mobile APP’s
  • A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug test
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Ability to work overtime if needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the installation of Audio Visual systems and components
  • Experience in the installation of Access Control and Security systems
  • Formal training, BICSI, various manufacturer training
  • Knowledge of integrated security solutions
  • Working knowledge of Computer Systems & Networking
  • Ability to read & interpret system design drawings and specifications
